30-Day Challenge: Dr. Andrew Huberman Routine - Day 1
The first challenge in Dr. Andrew Huberman's morning routine is to wake up between 5-6 am. This requires establishing a consistent sleep schedule by going to bed at 11 pm. While waking up early is not a problem for me,because I used to wake up at 5 am for my ritual stuff. I struggle with staying awake in the morning. I often find myself going back to bed and feeling groggy throughout the day.
To address this, I have started implementing new strategies. Upon waking up at 5 am, I perform my morning rituals and then drink a glass of water with salt. Toady , I was still uncertain whether I should immediately go to the gym or work for an hour before exercising. Something to know aobut that Dr. Huberman's routine suggests meditating for 10-20 minutes to complete sleep, but I'm not entirely clear on how to meditate. Instead, I try to relax by lying down with closed eyes, attempting to find a balance between rest and exercise.
Ultimately, my mind guides me towards going to the gym first. I spend two hours there, focusing on cardio for 21 minutes and working on my biceps and triceps to build muscle and burn fat.
After an intense workout, I return home and take a refreshing cold shower, following Dr. Huberman's routine. Since I have work from 3-11 pm today, I aim to dedicate some time to studying before heading to my job. Currently, I am learning Python and Data Science, and I strive to make progress in these areas.
That's all for today. Thank you for reading, and I will provide you with an update tomorrow
